We're all going on a.....freezing cold camping holiday!!

Well.....this will be my last post on my blog for a few days as I'm going camping. (BRRRRRRRR!!!)

We go away every Easter with the Folk Song and Dance Section of the Camping and Caravanning Club. It's usually a bit warmer than this years looks as we're normally down south. It should be fun though.

We do all sorts of activites and there are workshops going on all day and dances and things on an evening. Funnily enough I will be in all the craft gathers...bit like a crop but you can do what you want. I'm really excited as this year someone has decided to do a scrapbooking gather so I think I'll be spending a lot of time in there he he he.

My main scrapbook is coming along nicely now. I've done 5 pages in total and now have to wait until I get back after Easter to do anymore.

I think it's about time I uploaded some more of my pages. This one is my favourite as it's the fist real LO I eve did.

we were out at the gym I go to for a member's night on halloween. You can't really tell but I was all gothed up and wearing my lovely black veil. The title is Painted Black, but it isn't really visible here as it's done in black and painted over with stickles so it's all nice and sparklee ooooooo.....sorry, I got distracted he he he.

We also went away for Christmas to Prague. Phill and I have been together for 2 and a half years and it was our first holiday alone together. We spent a lot of time travelling on the undergroud as we were quite far out of Prague, but it was great. This LO is a hommage to our time spent on the underground...

Pristi Stanice is the only Czech we learnt out there and we think it means next station lol. The tube stations are really beautiful in a weird kind of way and still way back in the era of the communist regime. It was really interesting.

Well, I think I will sign off now. But hopefully when I get back i'll have loads of new and exciting LO's and cards to share with you all.

Peace and quiet

I've not really done much today. I've been getting on with some crafting. Nipped down to fingertips to invest in some more flower soft and toppers as I'm going to attempt to do a workshop on it when I go away camping for easter. Should be interesting as I've not really used it before lol. I'm trying to diversify my crafting as I love bold funky designs like this....

But I know this doesn't appeal to everyone, so I thought flower soft was a good idea as it's a little more, erm, sedate lol.

I want to sell my cards at craft fayres when I've eventually so i need to get a nice stock of cards together. It's just so difficult when scrapbooking takes over your life lol.

This is one of my recent scrapping pages. I'm doing a book about me and my darling OH...

He got a new guitar in January...he chose the one in the picture because I said 'that onelooks pretty!'. Now he's had to get a new guitar case aswell lol as it's too big to fit in his old case....oooops...that's my fault apparently he he he. I know it's not a very good picture of my layout, but I was too excited to wait until I have a proper camera available to take the pic!!

I think I'll sign off now and go and play with my flower soft for a while.

Hello and welcome to my blog!!

everyone else seems to be doing it so I thought I'd give it a go!!

This seems to have taken over all us crafters and I need a place to vent and show all my funky cards and see friends....so here we go!!

Well I've not really had a relaxing day to report on today. It has been a wonderful day though. I've been to the school where my OH teaches at today and I made cards with one of the classes. We've been doing easter cards and they were all sooooo cute.

As a bit of a treat afterwards, I had stamped out some of my penny black images for them to colour in and stick on cards, and they added loads of embellishments I had laying around the house. They also luuuurved peel-offs and I am officially out of peel offs now lol. I don't mind though as it's great getting all the kids into crafting. They loved it and want me to go back tomorrow. I told them even crafters need a day off lol!!

I think I will definately go back and do it again with them at some point. Little kids are so cute, but it's nice to give them back at the end of the day lol.

Time for me to relax a bit now and pack my tote for my trip to fingertips craft shop tomorrow.

As it's my first post I think I should at least try and attach a piccie so here goes......it should be a waterfall card I've done with one of my penny black stamps...fingers crossed!!
